Unlocking Innovation: TRIZ And Ideal Car Door

Continuing to think about TRIZ ideality and doors again, I would ask, what is an ideal car door? You remember for sure, such a door does not exist, but its function "to ensure easy entry and exit from the car" should be fulfilled. Today video shows three different approaches how to get ideal door. The first Buick Wildcat had no doors at all, and their function was performed by a retractable roof called a canopy. The second Sterling Kit car takes a similar approach. But the BMW Isetta did something incredible: the front part of the car's cabin still serves to rigidly fix the steering system and acts as... a door.

As intended, these cars will have no problems with driving or parking in tight urban environments. And they all look attractively and extraordinary.
