Contradictions Could Help Us Invent Incredible Cars

Future self-driving cars will presumably not only have no steering wheel, but also no tires. Craziest statement? Let's formulate and resolve this contradiction: In the cars of the future, wheels should be used to achieve propulsion by pushing off the road surface AND should not be used to further improve acceleration, top speed, braking and cornering.
