New Function From Physical Contradiction

To increase TRIZ Ideality, we need to create a new valuable function, while maintaining the old useful function of the same object. Often this leads to a contradiction. For example: a car wheel should be circle-like to provide higher speed (old function), AND should be caterpillar-like to move over rough terrain (new function).
